LMN Athletes
Athletes With A Cause is a way for competing outdoor athletes to raise money and awareness for diverse causes while they train, compete and travel the globe in search of adventure. You can help the LifeMoreNatural.com athletes raise money for such causes as sending underprivileged children to outdoor recreation camps, purchasing disabled sports equipment, or educating school children about alternative energies.
This past winter we raised over $1,500 to send kids from Big Brothers Big Sisters to ski camp at Alyeska Resort and to help Disabled Sports at Alpine Meadows. This summer we’ll be working with Expedition to Endure and Five 2 Nine Productions as they use cycling and kayaking respectively to bring awareness to important river conservation issues around the world.
In the past two years we’ve helped raise over $16,000, which has been used to purchase a bi-ski for Wasatch Adaptive Sports in Utah, sending kids to ski school in Northern Nevada, and supporting school sports programs in Healy, Alaska.
You can help these great athletes in their efforts by making a donation.
Expedition to Endure:
We’re riding our bicycles from Deadhorse, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina, around 16,000 miles, to promote conservation and protection of watersheds through fly fishing, healthy and sustainable lifestyles through cycling, and to reach out to the public through media to educate, inspire, and motivate current and future conservationists.

Currents and Five2Nine Productions:
Currents is a river stewardship focused WebTV program (online video documentary) which uses white water kayaking as a means to educate a broader audience about the risks threatening the world’s rivers and to help highlight the intrinsic value of preserving rivers in their natural state. It is our belief that greater recreational use of rivers promotes a stronger recognition of their importance and a greater dedication for the broader public to protecting them.
Mike McKay co-founder of Five2Nine Productions: Five 2 Nine brings together a group of amateur paddlers who all share the goals of pushing the limits of whitewater while holding down day jobs. In the time since Five 2 Nine began we have expanded to work on projects to help promote rivers and overall conservation of water resources. Through photo and video we hope to create awareness in an entertaining and fun way.
